EVENTS 

 

  • To adhere and to always promote the mission of the AZHCC 

  • To be responsible for the execution of ALL AZHCC membership events, Community events, and signature events 

  • To oversee the planning of all AZHCC membership events, program events and signature events 

  • To oversee the execution of the logistics of all membership events, program events, and signature events including booking of venues, menu creation, booking of talent, décor, audio / visual needs, volunteers, signage placement, run of shows, show agendas, photographers, videographers, event space layouts, scheduling vendors, panelists, guests and participants, and any other event logistics. 

  • To create event budgets and communicate with the chamber’s management team and adherence to those budgets 

  • Is responsible for a 100% satisfaction rating from all clients for all events 

  • To create a tracking system for event logistics for deployment and reporting 

  • To oversee that events are posted and promoted on AZHCC social media outlets 

  • To oversee membership event logistics, including registration, attendee tracking, presentation, materials support and pre and post event evaluations 

  • To assist the partnerships team in development of sponsorship packages for events in consideration of revenue generating opportunities to drive revenue for the AZHCC 

  • To be part of the review team to consider new events that are suggested to the AZHCC 

  • To design and oversee the execution of event reports for analytics and stats for future improvements in events processes 

  • To design and execute event debriefs and report all findings quarterly as instructed 

  • To hold and execute quarterly meetings with the membership, DATOS and marketing teams for proper preparation of events including meeting agenda’s 

  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor 

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Must have 5 years in management experience and task-oriented skills 

  • Must have 5 years’ experience in event management and program execution 

  • Must have a basic knowledge of financial statements 

  • Must be able to travel to and from events 

  • Must have superb communications skills in a team setting 

  • Must have superb communication skill in a community setting 

  • Must be able to present in front of a crowd 

  • Must be a proactive self-starter and be communicate deadlines and goals to the team 

  • Must be timely and able to adhere to deadlines 

  • Must be able to prioritize, solve problems and be resourceful under pressure 

  • Must have excellent writing skills including grammar and punctuation 

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 

  • Bi-lingual Spanish speaking preferred with writing, reading and translation skills 

 

KEY COMPETENCIES: 

  • Excellent time management skills and oral communication skills 

  • Outgoing personality to interact with a variety of clients, members, sponsors, and staff 

  • Ability to multi-task and manage several projects at one time 

  • Ability to work nights and weekends, as needed 

  • Must have vehicle to travel to events, meetings and carry appropriate insurances

Pay range: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
